It’s unfortunate that her grandmother couldn’t remember more, but it shows how normal Dr. King’s childhood was.

Perhaps, her grandmother didn’t consider it unusual for a black man to become a leader.

It’s so full of hope and promise, and yet girded with a deep determination.

We’ve all seen the typical video snippets featuring the ”I have a dream” and “… free at last” portions of this video.

But, only when you listen to the whole speech, hear his voice, and watch the faces in the huge crowd… only then can you realize the depth and power of that brief 10 minutes in history.

So, turn off your cell phone and turn up your speakers… watch and listen.
